The 24th and 25th of September will see the first annual Bryan Saltus Golf Classic at the Sea Links Golf and Country Club.  This promises to be an exciting event as anyone can enter and match their game against world class professional Bryan Saltus.

Bryan is helping launch a new golf resort and promoting the game in Vietnam.  The Sea Links City which is a group of luxury properties has him on hand for six weeks giving instruction and guidance.  Sea Links is very happy to have someone of Saltus calibre on hand for such an extensive session.

February 09

Bryan on the green of the New Kuta Golf Course’s scenic 14th hole.

Bryan Saltus is off to a great start this year. Good things are certainly about to happen for him as he is swinging the clubs wonderfully right now. With just a bit of luck it will definitely be his best year ever.
Bryan started the year playing on February 5th at the Suwan Golf and Country Club with a -3 earning him 43rd place in Thailand. Then for the next two weeks he just missed the cut in Malaysia and Australia. On to his best showing of the year so far, Indonesia. At the Indonesia Open at the New Kuta Golf Resort, Bali, Bryan played for a -5 on the tournament earning him 16th place. The first day of the event was Salty’s 38th birthday and he played great all week.
Keep routing him on as he climbs towards more wins on the Asian Tour!

Years End 2008

Well this was quite a rough year for Bryan. After enduring problems with his back all year he finally started feeling good when his knee popped out in Japan. When he fell Bryan broke his finger as well. While not feeling great he still decided to give it a go and defend his title at the Johnnie Walker Cambodia Open. This was painful physically but he still managed to finish in the money with a 34th place with 4 under for the tournament. He is still positioned well from the previous years win due to the fact that a tour win gives 2 years of automatic qualification for tour events. Bryan is feeling healthy and plans to come out strong for all of next season. Besides… Bryan Saltus is still your 2007 Johnnie Walker Cambodia Open Winner!

Bryan in the news

Saltus Fall 08

After an uneventful 1st half of the year, the 2nd half started w/ the cut made in tiawan with a $2000- clostest to the pin prize (88cm) on saturday. I hurt my back in Japan after playing w/ Curtis Strange, Freddie Cupples and Rya.
After missing q-school last year because of the fires… I was very frustrated this year with back problems.
I will be going back for HSVC Shanghi for the $5,000,000 pot and then to Singapore for the $5,000,000 purse there. Then on to Hong Kong.
The year will end with me defending my first Asian tour win in the Johnnie Walker Cambodia Open. Hopefully this run will place me into the final event of the year the Volvo masters of Asia, which only takes the curent 2008 top 60 on the asian tour. Problems with my back have been a setback, but I always play better at the end of the year and with my back against the wall.

April ’08

After last years strong finish Bryan has been looking for the form that he finished ’07 with. The first few tournaments were missed due to personal engagements. Saltus began the season in New Delhi India at the Johnnie Walker Classic, followed by the Maybank Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. He missed the cut for India but placed 46th in KL with a -6. At the Ballantine’s Championship Bryan was a DQ leaving Korea for Thailand to play in the Asian Tour International Tournament where he missed the cut. Lastly, this weekend Saltus missed the cut by one stroke at the Philippine open in Manila.

Best of luck to Bryan as he fine tunes his stroke. We are all sure he will peak this season, once again, with some wins.

May ’07

Bryan was golfing well all month not missing one cut in Korea, Macau and again in Korea. Early May at the GS Caltex Maekyung Open in Korea Saltus was tied for 51st.

At the Macau Open the fourth round was canceled due to weather and he ended at -2 tied for 45th. But it was late in the month at the SK Telecom Open in Korea where Bryan Saltus -5 for a nice share of the earnings at 14th place.

April ’07

April was a good month for Bryan Saltus. After a nice rest Bryan was back on tour with a 44th in the Volvo China Open which was good for over $10,000usd. Nice work Saltus… The following tournement Bryan missed the cut to tie for 97th place in the Shanghai, China, BMW Asian Open. On the last weekend of April, he was able to climb back into the money with a tie for 51st in Korea at the GS Caltex Maekyung Open.

Break Time

Hey now… After missing the cut in Singapore I knew it was time for a real holiday. Time to go home and rest for a few weeks and get ready for the Volvo China Open and the BMW Asian Open both in Shanghai, China. These tournements will be starting on the 12th of April.

So for now, no golf! Just catching up on some live rasta music, and good times with friends.
